Nearlyst

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains what information Nearlyst collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what's needed to help you evaluate neighborhoods by what's within a short drive.

1. Information we collect

• Addresses you enter to look up nearby places. • Agent profile details you provide — name, agency, title, phone, bio, and an optional logo. • Client email addresses, used to deliver access codes. • Account email and password (managed by our authentication provider; we never see your password). • Messages you send through the contact or feedback forms.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to look up nearby places and driving times, to display agent branding to clients, to email access codes to clients, to respond to your messages, and to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your information.

3. Location and map data

Nearlyst uses Google Maps services to geocode addresses you enter, search for nearby places, and calculate driving times. The addresses and coordinates you submit are sent to Google for these lookups. Google's own privacy policy governs how it handles that data.

4. Access codes

Agents can generate 30-day access codes for their clients. We store the code, the client name and email, and an expiry date so we can verify the code and email it to the client. Agents can revoke codes at any time.

5. Payments

Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive a record of the transaction (such as the order status and plan) to grant and manage your access, but your full card details are handled by the payment provider and never stored by Nearlyst.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Agents can delete their account at any time from the Agent Portal, which removes profile information and revokes issued client codes. You can also contact us to request deletion of your data.

7. Third-party services

We rely on Google Maps for geocoding and place search, our authentication provider for account login, and our payment provider for subscriptions. Each service has its own privacy policy that governs the data it processes.

8. Children's privacy

Nearlyst is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
